Customer statement: Sometimes, gears cannot be selected during cold weather. This may occur together with a fault message for the parking brake.
Workshop findings: The complaint can be reproduced, however a change occurs after an extended period in warmer surroundings. The following combination of event memory entries occur together and simultaneously.

Control unit information is not communicated at the right time. If the complaint applies completely, please replace the brake servo control unit as an individual part and send it in for analysis. The TPI number must always be stated for ease of processing.For markets with DISS-SAGA/2 link, the TPI is taken from the DISS system. For markets without DISS or without DISS-SAGA/2 link, the “HST number” field must be completed in the SAGA/2 system.
